Andrew J. Grill
Andrew was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2006 and is a Trial
Bar Member of the United States District Court for the Northern
District of Illinois. He attended Marquette University and
obtained a B.S. in Economics (1999) and his J.D. from The John
Marshall Law School (2006). During law school, Andrew was
heavily involved in Moot Court (2004-05) and became an Executive
Board member in 2005. Upon admission to the Illinois bar,
Andrew worked as an Assistant State's Attorney (Peoria County;
DuPage County - 2006-2012) trying to verdict in excess of 150 bench
trials and over 60 jury trials.
Andrew left government work in 2012 to work at The Sotos Law
Firm (2012-2016). There, he represented Illinois
municipalities, governmental officials and their insurers in highly
complex federal and state litigation at the trial and appellate
levels with emphasis on civil rights, police misconduct and reverse
conviction defense. Andrew now leverages his substantial
federal and state trial and litigation experience in the areas of
commercial and general tort litigation.
